Thursday 30 September 2027 – Zagreb-Ljubljana-Bled
Depart after breakfast and travel into Slovenia. Enjoy a guided tour of
Ljubljana, strolling along the riverfront and historic old town, passing

Ascend by funicular to Ljubljana Castle, the magnificent medieval
fortress perched above the city. Explore reconstructed castle spaces,
museum collections showcasing Slovenian history, and enjoy time to
take in sweeping views from the lookout tower over the rooftops of
Ljubljana. Continue to the lakeside town of Bled. On arrival, check in to your hotel
and enjoy dinner together, followed by a peaceful evening walk along

Friday 1st October
BLED (CASTLE AND ISLAND)
This morning, visit Bled Castle, spectacularly perched high on a cliff above
Lake Bled, offering breathtaking views across the emerald waters and the
snow-capped Julian Alps. Explore the castle terraces, informative museum
and historic wine cellar, providing insight into the region’s rich past.
Later, enjoy a guided tour of Lake Bled, uncovering the fascinating
geological story behind its formation and unique landscape. Continue with
a traditional pletna boat ride across the lake to Bled Island, including
entrance to the Church of the Mother of God. Climb the stone steps and, if
you wish, ring the famous wishing bell. The afternoon is free to relax by the
lakeside, enjoy a coffee, or sample the legendary Bled cream cake while
soaking up the tranquil alpine atmosphere.

Saturday 2nd October
BLED – POSTOJNA – OPATJA – PLITVICE
Travel toward the Adriatic coast with a visit to the remarkable Postojna
Cave system, one of Europe’s largest and most impressive karst cave
networks. Formed over millions of years by the Pivka River, the caves
stretch more than 24 kilometers underground. Enjoy a guided cave
experience including a scenic electric train ride deep into the cavern
system, followed by a walk-through vast halls and galleries adorned with
dramatic stalactites, stalagmites, translucent curtains and towering
columns. Highlights include the Russian Bridge, the snow-white Brilliant
stalagmite and the vast Concert Hall. Audio guides are available. Continue
to the elegant seaside resort of Opatija for a short stop along its historic
promenade and grand Austro-Hungarian villas. In the afternoon, drive inland to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner together this evening.

natural beauty. Enjoy a guided walk through the park, following wooden
boardwalks past sixteen turquoise lakes, over ninety waterfalls and lush
green forests, where cascades tumble into crystal-clear pools. The Upper
and Lower Lakes create ever-changing scenery and unforgettable photo
moments at every turn. Later, continue to the Dalmatian coast and arrive in Zadar. Visit the

promenades. Later, arrive at the port and embark on your Adriatic cruise.

SIBENIK - PRIMOSTEN
After breakfast, your coach will collect you at the port for an excursion to
Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s most celebrated natural attractions.

and striking karst landscapes. Visit the spectacular Skradinski Buk, the
park’s largest cascade, where water tumbles over seventeen natural
barriers, creating a breathtaking series of falls and walkways.
Following your visit, travel by coach to Primošten, with lunch served onboard. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore this charming seaside town, whose historic old town sits on a former islet connected by a causeway. After breakfast, the vessel sails to the charming town of Trogir, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed morning exploring at your own pace. Wander through narrow stone

coffee along the waterfront. Back on board, enjoy lunch as we cruise south,
followed by a refreshing swim stop in the clear Adriatic waters. Later, arrive in Split for a guided walking tour through the heart of the city, including the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, the Peristil and the exterior of St Domnius Cathedral. In the morning we leave Split and sail towards Hvar. Saturday 9th October
HVAR - KORCULA
Depart Hvar after breakfast and sail toward the island of Korčula, with time
to enjoy a refreshing swim stop in the crystal-clear Adriatic along the way.
On arrival in Korčula Town, join a guided walking tour through its narrow
medieval streets, said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. Free time later in
the afternoon allows you to choose from a range of optional experiences,
including an island buggy tour, honey and gin tasting at a local family farm,
or a wine tasting featuring Pošip, Grk and Plavac Mali. Later in the afternoon, embark on a trip to the agricultural masterpiece of Stari Grad Plain which has remained virtually intact since it was created by ancient Greek colonist in the 4thcentury BC. At this UNESCO World heritage listed site you will have an opportunity to witness a beautiful sunset, delight on the local delicacies and feast on a traditional ‘Peka’ dinner at the Hora estate-all while being surrounded by lush olive groves and fields of lavender. Sunday 10th October
KORCULA-SIPAN OR SLOAN
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely sail through the tranquil Pelješac Channel toward the island of Šipan, or to the mainland port of Slano if conditions require. Lunch is served on board, followed by time to relax on deck or wander through the picturesque fishing village of Šipanska Luka.
This afternoon, travel by coach with an English-speaking guide to the Bay of Mali Ston, celebrated as Croatia’s premier oyster-growing region. Board a traditional wooden boat for a gentle cruise past the oyster beds, gaining insight into centuries-old cultivation techniques. Pause on a floating platform to indulge in a tasting of freshly shucked oysters and delicately prepared mussels, perfectly paired with a glass of local wine — a true Adriatic delicacy and highlight of the day. Continue on to the medieval town of Ston, renowned for its impressive 5.5-kilometre stone walls and historic saltworks, still producing salt using ancient methods. SLOAN OR SIPAN - DUBROVNICK
Breakfast on board and depart for Dubrovnik, the final cruise stop.
Disembark at Gruž port where coaches bring you to the Old Town for a
guided walking tour (approx. 1h15): Pile Gate, Stradun, Rector’s Palace,
Onofrio Fountain and the Franciscan Monastery. After the tour enjoy free
time to walk the city walls (optional), ride the cable car to Srđ for
panoramic views, shop or sip coffee in an Old Town square. Return transfer

DUBROVNIK-SAREJEVO
Leaving the coast behind, we travel inland from Dubrovnik through beautiful countryside to the historic town of Mostar. On arrival, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Wander through the Old Town’s cobbled streets, browse local shops, or walk to the famous Old Bridge spanning the emerald-green Neretva River. This is a lovely spot to pause for lunch, relax at a riverside café and soak up the atmosphere of one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most picturesque towns. Later, we continue to Sarajevo, a city known for its rich history and fascinating blend of cultures. After arriving, we check in to our centrally located hotel, perfectly
placed for exploring on foot. The evening is free to enjoy a gentle stroll, find a local restaurant, or simply relax after a memorable day of travel. (B)
